Three very important points why the quake console is still much better - There need to be no ugly gtk bars. That ruins the quake feeling. So at the option you can hide the tab bar, and replace it with a little border like Quake's. - Quake console has real transparency (at least the client I used), Guake has not. I want to see my gnome windows behind Quake. - The Quake console slides in to the screen nice and slowly, Guake just pops up Fix these and I will be very happy! |

Guake's wm_class is Guake.py the css system of gnome-shell can't get Guake duel to there is a dot in Guake's wm_class. -here is diff of src/guake.py- 23d22 < gobject.set_prgname('guake') |

We need to have an option for software flow control. It should be disabled by default. Guake does not respond if once ctrl+s is pressed in a particular terminal say Terminal 0. Only solution is to right click on the terminal tag, close it and open a new one. |
