Description

If the user has a problem launching his shell that causes the shell to show an error message, the user never sees that message, because guake immediately disappears; all you see is a flash of where the terminal is for a split second.

Could you describe how to reproduce it ?

At the time it was a bug in fish, but all you really need to do is have the shell exit. For example make a binary that prints an error message and exits, then make that your shell.
