[PATCH] Quick Google search from context menu

Reported by: Igor Owned by: somebody
Priority: Fix available Milestone: 0.5.0
Component: guake Version:
Keywords: google search, context menu Cc:

Description

One feature I was heavily missing in Guake was an ability to run a Google search on selected text. Something similar to a feature of gnome-terminal:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBPEME4lc8s

This patch does exactly that - if there is text selected in the Guake terminal, context menu will contain an extra menuitem, allowing to quickly run a Google search on the selection.

Comes in very handy while troubleshooting broken builds/runtime errors etc.

Since "Google" is an international word, no extra work with translations is needed.
