Crtl+X closes Guake

Using ctrl+x closes Guake. This is some key binding which is not on the preferences menu but it actually works. But to me, this is bad, because i was on a ssh session, editing a file on nano which uses ctrl+x to close but when i did that, it closed Guake, instead of my ssh nano session. The problem was that i had other processes going on on different tabs.

Could you run guake from the terminal and give the output if there is any ?

In addition could you give the content of the file ~/.gconf/apps/guake/keybindings/global/%gconf.xml ?

I have similar problem, but in my situation, the "magic combination" is Ctrl+q. This combination is very common for closing application in gnome, but in shell I often use Ctrl+a to lock the screen and the Ctrl+q to unlock it. But in case with guake - this close the application with all tabs opened.

I will be glad if in the next version it is solved.

Have you tried a right click on Guake ? It shows you that the shortcut to close/stop guake is Ctrl+Q... What you are facing is not a bug but a feature :D

The only way to change that would be to add the option on the preferences. We will have to see about that.

you are right I did not check that this is the feature. I just take a look at "Keyboard shortcuts" I did not find it there. That is a great news that this is feature. I am waiting for this new option!

hmm, I never saw this bug happening and we didn't receive more information, so I'll close this bug, but someone reproduce it, please reopen in the same time =)
