Tabs on the left side

Description

Usually when you open the Guake terminal you also want to do or look at something in another window. This means that that you want to have as much room as possible under Guake, but there is this "useless" bar with tabs that takes up a lot of space. And because Guake usually is wider than taller you probably don't need so much space on each side.

So, I would suggest to add an option for placing this tab bar on the left side of Guake and reducing Guake's height with this.

Changing this setting on a working terminal would probably cause problems, but imho it should be solved the way any other windowed terminal program does (rewrap text or just ignore/crop). Maybe this option should also be configurable separately for normal or full-screen mode.

hmm, I think it will not be good for guake interface. In some changes ago I removed the option to change the tab position because nobody was using it and it was bloating the preferences window and guake code in general.

But about your point of try to use more space on the screen, what do you think about hide the tabbar, does it help you?

Thank you for contributing =)

Great, this also solves my wish for screen space! I am not using the SVN version of Guake and therefore haven't noticed that "show_hide" option is avalible in the newest...

No, thank you for developing. :D
