Message at startup must be shown above of panel

Description

Now it shown at the bottom of screeen, but must be shown upper then bottom panel. See screenshot

Ubuntu 8.10 with Compiz enabled.

Ideally, there must be option to disable startup message, it contains unusable information and only annoying users.

The pop-up uses the notify procedure which imply that it pop-ups at the bottom.

The pop-up is also now an option that can be desactivated in the preferences windows in the latest version on the git repo.

I therefore close this bug but feel free to re-open it if you feel that it is still a valid bug :)
